About Us

CASA of Southwest Missouri is a volunteer-led organization that serves child in foster care in both Greene and Christian counties. CASA of Southwest Missouri works to recruit, train, and support community volunteers to be advocates and consistent adults for a child or sibling group in foster care. Our community volunteers are objective fact-finders, learn as much as they can about the child or children assigned to them, and share that information with the judge and other agencies in order to make sure the child's most critical needs are not being overlooked, and to ensure the case is progressing as quickly as possible so the child can get into a permanent home.
