12th Annual Hot Air Balloon Glow
Hosted by the Children's Smile Center
Children’s Smile Center is hosting the 12th Annual Hot Air Balloon GLOW on Friday night, June 29, 2018. Hot air balloons will inflate and glow at Finley River Park in Ozark, Missouri, inside the grounds of the annual two-day Sertoma Duck Race Festival!
The hot air balloons are tethered to the ground so all attendees can get close to the balloons, get in the baskets and help keep them inflated! This is a nighttime balloon glow and not a launch; hot air balloons are not allowed to launch when it is dark.
The GLOW is highly dependent on weather conditions. If there are high wind speeds or rain in the area, then it is possible the event would be cancelled. This decision will be made a couple hours prior to the scheduled event. Updates will be given on this event page.
Check out 4csertoma.com for more details on all the activities going on during our annual Hot Air Balloon GLOW! Besides the GLOW (approximately 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., pending weather conditions), there will be live music, a kids’ zone with inflatables and rides and lots of great food and drink options as well as small business vendor booths to visit. There are costs associated with many of these activities, including a $5 per car parking fee. There is no admission charge for the GLOW. |
