Wayne Glenn
Author Wayne Glenn is an Ozarks native whose ancestors came to future Christian County before the Civil War. Glenn, his wife Nira, and family still live on the farm his parents bought in 1949. He graduated from Nixa High in 1965 and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in education from MSU in Springfield. An educator for 14 years, Glenn has been a radio personality since 1977 where he is known as the “Old Record Collector.” The author has penned 13 books on his beloved Ozarks since 2000. His OZARK OF THE OZARKS (a photo history of Ozark, Mo) has been reprinted in hardback form and is for sale at Nixa Hardware and the Christian County Library or by contacting the author. His other books are currently out of print.
